Hylands offer speedy delivery from VAST warehouse stocks, usually the same or the following day 6 days a week, we also offer a comprehensive installation service if required;

   Old product to dispose of?  WEEE = Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment 
Not a problem, we are licensed to remove and store your old appliances (WEEE) upon delivery of your replacement goods, these are then disposed of in an environmentally safe manner - all recyclable parts are stripped out (Glass, Copper, Lead, Steel, etc) and any gases safely removed
NB. Gas appliances will need to be disconnected first UNLESS we are fitting your replacement for you


Guide to our Installation services when carried out at the time of delivery: If you opt for drop off then call us back to install later these charges are increased slightly to cover extra time & fuel

Save money - If multiple products are delivered on the same day & to the same address - unless otherwise stated the dearest applicable charge below will cover all other goods basic installation (i.e. TV, Washer, dryer, dishwasher - all four can be installed for single charge)

All products - If you opt for our installation service, this is purely connection to an existing, adjacent supply in apparent good order and fitting of facia panels for integrated appliances. Our installers are trained to carry out this work, however are not allowed to undertake any major carpentry, electrical or plumbing work.

1 man deliveries - Regret we cannot have customers offering to assist us, our installers are trained in manual lifting, if someone gets hurt, product/property gets dropped/damaged who's fault is it? (Regrettably nowadays we have to be aware of the blame & claim culture even if people are trying to help) Unless larger items are going in a garage or you are sure about easy access (our vans are equipped with tail lifts and sack trucks) then please book a 2 man delivery and let us do the job properly & safely for you

TV’s – We recommend customers save the box where they are able for future transport including any warranty/service issues

Internet enabled product - To install this type of product we will need you to input any password(s) for your home broadband connection, please have these at hand, if these passwords fail you will need to contact your ISP to have these reset, due to data protection and your own security we cannot talk to them for you nor would they talk to us.

TV Wall mounting service excludes the cost of brackets & leads, please ensure you have these.

Built in products – Installation service covers transfer of existing door panel(s) & plinth to new appliance (If suitable- ie not warped) and basic woodwork only, we reserve the right to decline this service should we discover upon arrival that you need a specialist (In which case our charge would be refunded) 

Gas appliances in very small kitchens (30 cubic metres or less = Floor area 3mtrs x 5mtrs approx) or kitchens with no direct exterior door may need an air brick fitting by law for your safety, our fitter will advise you but this additional work if required would be chargeable and isn't part of the standard installation.

Kitchen appliances - Plumbing can be disturbed by us disconnecting / re-connecting product, we recommend you check after we have finished for leaks, minor leaks may not be noticeable straight away so please check again at regular intervals and let us know immediately should a leak start to occur, it may also be necessary to turn off your water/electricity/gas supply when installing kitchen appliances, please check your stop tap works, turn off computers etc and be prepared for this, other problems can sometimes show at this time i.e. if the ignition / thermocouple on your central heating boiler is faulty it may not restart if the gas supply has been interrupted, whilst we will do all we can to restart this for you, this is due to a fault within the boiler and is not caused by our turning the gas off.
