Is our Longton branch haunted?

Spooky goings on in this old Victorian building both upstairs and in the cellar include
dark shadows, odd noises and a very strange reoccurring smell of old pipe tobacco
The chemist next door have experienced some of the same phenomena in their adjoining cellar

 Ask our Staff for details  .... if you dare !!!

The uppermost floors haven't been used since the 1970's when this was Harold Bowen's Photographers

My own daughter was doing a school project and wanted some interesting photos of derelict areas, old pot banks and the like, as part of this she took a series of photos in the unused uppermost floors not thinking much until studied later, these 2 stood out as unusual

Photo taken in the pitch black loft only illuminated by the flash 

This photo showed an odd shape on the wall, there is no light to the right to cast a shadow, when returning for a closer look the wall is clean - Is that a rope from the neck as well? (Click photo's to open then bigger in a new window)
 

Oddly this landing is where a psychic medium (who didn't know of this photo) also felt something

It was after his visit my daughter was reminded of the photo's she had taken back in March - she hadn't noticed the odd shape on this shot until then as this was just 1 of many photo's taken

I'm a sceptic, but as far as spending the night there, lets just say I wouldn't want to do it !!!

We have since had a team of ghost hunter's spend the night, they discovered not just 1 but 3 spirits haunting this big old building,
our staff at Longton have more details of their findings, including a name.

This photo was taken in the cellar during the investigation

After the above we invited Signal Radio's Breakfast show host's Perry & Louise for a sleepover in the run up to Halloween - Oct 2010

They had been looking for spooky venues and had there own medium
